Professional Bio

Terese has served on the staff of The Rees-Jones Foundation since its inception in 2007. Responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s grantmaking investments, Terese is active in developing relationships in local and international communities, and with grant seekers to help advance innovation and best practices in program areas of high interest to the Foundation: Child Welfare, Child Mental Health and Disability, Healthy Families, Youth Formation and Animal Welfare; as well as an international portfolio focused on justice issues, safe water, specialty medical care and child development/family stability.

Terese serves as a Commissioner on the Supreme Court of Texas Permanent Judicial Commission for Children, Youth and Families, and in addition, is a Court Appointed Special Advocate with Dallas CASA, and currently on the Advisory Council for the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. Terese is on the board of Professionals in Christian Philanthropy, a national organization supporting philanthropy peers. Terese is currently excited about being involved in a new church plant in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas.
