2026 Foundation Site Visit

Site Visit

Each year, a PCP member foundation opens its doors to fellow members for an inside look at how they do their work. During these visits, the host foundation shares its grantmaking processes, governance structures, and strategic considerations, creating space for the kind of honest peer learning that happens when practitioners compare notes and ask real questions of one another.

This year, we will be the guests of Tyndale House Foundation in Chicago. President Jeremy Taylor — familiar to many of you as a longtime PCP board member and our conference emcee — along with his team will welcome us for a look under the hood at Tyndale's approach to grantmaking.

Please plan to join us in Chicago! These gatherings of diverse peers to dig into the nuts and bolts of grantmaking always lead to rich, sharpening, and cross-cutting learning and connection. We're grateful that Tyndale will serve as the catalyst for these conversations this October.

Logistics

There’s no fee to participate in the site visit. Members will cover their own travel, lodging, and meals, and Tyndale will provide lunch for us. We’ll start at 8:30am on Monday morning and wrap up by 4:00pm.

We’ll organize dinner together on Sunday night, for those whose travel plans permit, as well as another one on Monday night to continue the conversation with any who will stay over that evening.

Please see the Lodging tab for several nearby hotel options.
